Favorite Places To Visit

Ardlethan Lions Park is a fantastic free camping area. Well maintained park with lots of shade and seating. Spotless toilets, if you want power it can be bought in 6 hour blocks for $2. Free electric BBQ. Ardlethan is a small regional town just off the Newel Highway between Naranderra and West Wyalong. It’s the home of the Kelpie in the midst of some great farming country. There is an old fridge that has been converted to a book swap station. There is a small supermarket to top up supplies and a really nice cafe where we will have Mother’s Day breakfast. We had dinner at the local pub but the bowling club also sells meals. It’s a very relaxing spot to break up your trip on the Newell highway, highly recommended, put it on your list.

Hi all i want to share a little spot that is great for a weekend to a week getaway , There is NOTHING THERE no drinking water no toilets nothing ,,

BUT YOU GET

A river , The upper reaches of the shaolhaven river the water is cool and Clean

there is GOLD dust , great fun for a few hours Paning you can take dirt bikes but if you do most like it if you ride away a bit ,DUST ! everyone gets on .....Its a Bloody great place if your 16 or 85 years old there is a pub 6 or so K`s up the road ,Great sniddy , It is free but you are expected to take what you bring . so where is it (OH did i say its a beautiful place ) I will drop a few pic`s ,,,,
