Please another section for the DIYs of campervan conversions!

Hi everyone , as first timer at converting a Ford Transit into a campervan I find it is not easy finding answers to many of the problems that part of the journey here in Australia while both the UK & USA sport many online clubs to support their "do it yourselfers" While we can find lots of information both from the great varieties of foreign clubs , there is always the non -availability of their products to strike a blow with their electricity supply ( in voltage) being different when it comes to "mains" or "shore" as it is named in the US.

Sorry that I actually missed the point with my first comments so basically it would be handy to know what products are limited to their countries of manufacture & if there is a substitute or replacement available elsewhere? One example is a double sided tape named Mastic (or is it Mastik) that is promoted by English DIY instructors in their videos for using under van roofing vents during installation ? My enquiries at BUNNINGS ( Australia`s biggest hardware chain ) drew a blank !

Camping Mat

Just wanted to share our latest camping kit purchase. Grabbed 2 of these awesome mats for our Chrissy holiday trip. We have a 8 month old kelpie pup who loves to drag sand, dirt and leaves all over the place so this was a gosend. A definite upgrade from the typical mesh style mats. Easy to clean. Recycled and eco friendly which is a plus. It doesnt get hot when in the sun and is quite soft to walk on. We also use one around our pool area in summer to avoid hot tiles. Brand: Affordable Camping Mats

Here's a great hack for freezing meat with limited freezer space.

Buy some ground beef in bulk, Ziploc it, roll it flat, and freeze it.

This is perfect for the limited space we all have in our Caravan/Motorhome freezers!
